Brown Ballerinas Dream Big
Brown Ballerinas is embarking on an incredible journey to South Africa, and we need your support!
This life-changing opportunity will take twelve (12) talented young dancers from Washington, D.C.to South Africa for a week-long dance program and performance.
This isn't just a trip—it’s a bridge between cultures, an exchange of creativity, and a chance for our dancers to grow as artists and individuals. During this week, these young ballerinas will enhance their skills, experience cultural exchange, build global connections, and perform on an International Stage.
Every donation will go directly toward travel expenses, lodging, meals, and program fees for these young dancers. Your contribution isn’t just funding a trip, it’s an investment in their futures. These girls are gaining more than dance skills—they’re building resilience, expanding their worldviews, and stepping into their power as cultural ambassadors.
Help us raise $80,000 to make this unforgettable experience a reality. Together, we can give them the chance to dance, learn, and grow in ways they’ve only dreamed of. Donate today, and let’s make a difference—one pirouette at a time!
Brown Ballerinas First Steps is a story about Trinity’s first experience in a ballet class. At the age of four, she learned the beginning steps it takes to create a Princess Ballerina. Trinity was nervous and excited as she entered into a space she once dreamed about.

Ballet barre’s, mirrors, dance floors, and little girls that look like her, help Trinity to feel safe and nurtured in a new studio environment. Once she got past, “I can’t do it,” her teacher, Ms. Paula, found her to be the best in the class!

Join Trinity and her new friends as they learn the beginning steps to becoming a Brown Ballerina.
