Anthony Burrell
Guest Choreographer
(Atlanta, G.A) is a Philadelphia born creative director, choreographer, and actor. As a student he was hand selected to join Ailey II and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater by Emeritus Judith Jamison the artistic director of the University of the Arts. Anthony has danced with Philadanco, Eleone, Koresh, and Prism Dance Theater. Winning an MTV Music Award for Best Choreography in Beyonce's Formation he was also the creative force behind Mariah Carey's Vegas residency.
Michael Jackson JR

(New Orleans, L.A) began his dance training at age 14 at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., under the direction of Charles Augins. He became a member of Dance Theatre of Harlem Dancing through Barriers Ensemble in 2005. In 2006 he joined Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and in 2008 joined Philadanco, where he also worked as artistic director of D3. Mr. Jackson joined the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2011 and rejoined in 2015.
Chantal'Ashante Hill

Author of "The Spiritual Ballerina From Passion to Purpose," began her formal ballet training at the age of 18. She has trained on full scholarship with Dance Theater of Harlem, Joel Hall Dancers, Judah International Dance Theater, Elements Contemporary Ballet, Hiplet Ballerinas just to name a few. Chantal is the ballet instructor for the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's Ailey Camp Chicago. She leads a life of purpose and great faith.
Jiamond Watson
Ballet \ Contemporary
Beginning her studies at Expressions Dance Theater of Oxon Hill and attending Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Jiamond was awarded a scholarship to any university from the DC-CAPital STARS Talent Competition. With her scholarship she attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. There Jiamond became the captain and head coach of The Royals Band Dance Line. During her studies she also joined the contemporary ballet company BalletX as an apprentice. Shortly after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the university, she appeared as a guest artist with Alonzo King Lines Ballet in the film documentary "Origins" to be released Summer of 2022. Currently Jiamond is an apprentice dancer with Chamber Dance project while living in Washington D.C.
Treshawn Brown
Jumps + Turns Guest
A native of New Orleans, L.A. Ms. Brown has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and Horton technique. She has studied in Louisianna, Tennessee, North Carolina, New York, and Connecticut. Even though her focus is now on teaching she continues to train in dance. She has been teaching and choreographing for over 20 years. Her experience consists of be a freelance choreographer, previous dance competition director, and former owner and Artistic Director of Dancerz Stage Dance. Currently she has a company called TLC (Turns, Leaps, and Conditioning) where she shares her tips and techniques with dancers and studios.
Sheri D Artis
Jazz/ Contemporary/ Competition
Ms Artis was the Vice President of the Dance Department, member of the DESA, and honor student while attending Duke Ellington School of the Arts under the direction of Lynn B Welters and Sandra Fortune. She received a full scholarship to Suny Purchase with a concentration in Classical Ballet and Dance Education. She finished her studies at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre working with various artists from distinguished companies. Ms. Artis has spent the past 25 years teaching her passion receiving numerous awards for her choreography and technical excellence. Her students have gone on to attend various venues such as the Kirov Ballet Academy, Rock School of Ballet, Cirque du Soleil, Philadanco, and Alivn Ailey American Dance Theater.
Nanichi Vargas
Ballet
As a Washington D.C. native Ms.Nanichi started her ballet training at the age of 5 with The Washington Ballet School's southeast campus under the instruction of Paula Brown, before joining the northwest campus in their professional division. She has also studied under the instruction of Sondra Fortune ballet mistress of the Jones and Haywood school and Charles Augins dance department chairman at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Outside of the district Ms. Nanichi trained at The Dance Theater of Harlem and with Nashville Ballet. Most recently a trainee with the now called Philadelphia Ballet.
Troy Brown
Ballet/Pointe
Mr. Troy Brown attended the School of American Ballet in New York City under full scholarship and is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts. He has performed with the Chicago City Ballet, both the Baltimore and Washington Operas, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. His students have attended (many on scholarship) The Kirov Academy of Ballet, Maryland Youth Ballet, Joffrey Ballet School, Bolshoi Ballet, The School of American Ballet and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at the American Ballet Theater
Nikki Sutton-Mackey
Horton Technique
Mrs. Sutton is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She studied at the University of the Arts and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in NY. She professionally danced with Philadanco 2, Ailey II, and The Walt Disney Company. Introduced to the world of fitness in 1998, she intertwined her innate passion for movement and the body. Her love for the Lester Horton modern technique is shared through her teachings. Currently Mrs. Sutton instructs dance and physical education at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and is staffed at private dance studios.
Lonnie Grant

As a Washington DC native Ms. Lonnie has an extensive background in ballet, hip hop, jazz, cheerleading, tumbling, African Dance, and contortion. She has attended leading dance institutions including, but limited to, The Washington Ballet, Joy of Motion, and Extreme Hip Hop. Currently Ms. Lonnie is a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor, possess a certification in Alixa Flexibility, and she is the founder and creator of The Dynasty Institute Training Method. Ms. Lonnie's never -ending pursuit of learning and growing in her area of expertise sets her apart. During her 15 years of teaching, her students have gone on to dance with renowned dance companies such as The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Dance Institute of Washington, and The Debbie Allen Dance Company. Ms. Lonnie takes a tremendous pride in impacting the lives of children and teenagers in such a powerful and positive way.
